Our department represents all school counselors, school social workers, social-emotional coaches, mental health supports, and school nurses, that serves our students and families in our 45 schools.

Big Rock | Title | Description |
1 | Relational-Restorative Practices (RP) | RP- How relationships are built, maintained and restored in the school. (S to S; A to S; A to A) PBIS- The day-to day expectations of how we do school. |
2 | Empathy as a Durable Skill | The most important durable skill moving forward. We must intentionally teach this skill in order to address the "b-word". |
3 | Behavior 411 Sessions | Monthly meetings in each district with SEL Coaches and Behavior Support Specialists on hand to meet with admin and teachers- Listen, discuss, advise, etc. |
4 | BCS Code of Character and Conduct | The Equity Work Group will develop, vet, edit and propose a comprehensive and consistent Code of CC that will be used across K-12 spectrum (May 2023) |
