The North Carolina School of Science and Mathematics (NCSSM) sent a truckload of #MomentsOfHope to our area on Monday.

Lee Gardner, of Lee's 24 Hr Towing Inc. in Durham, brought the NCSSM donations to the Buncombe County Schools Central Services building in his 18-wheeler. It was the 23rd trip he’s taken with tractor trailer loads of donated supplies since Oct. 2. He partnered with several churches and nonprofit organizations in the Raleigh-Durham area to bring supplies directly to local organizations that can distribute them.

“We’re bringing baby food, canned food, lots of laundry detergent, warm coats, gloves and hats, kerosene and other fuel, and cleaning supplies like shovels and wheelbarrows, just whatever anybody needs up here,” he said.

Thanks to NCSSM and Mr. Gardner for helping us in Buncombe County. Be proud of the good you are doing!
